Wellington Brass Band is renowned for its innovation, versatility and passion and currently has three active ensembles performing in numerous engagements in various shapes and forms.
Wellington Brass (premier)
The band everyone knows as Wellington Brass, is the forefront of the organisation, Wellington Brass is a competing A grade Band, and current NZ Champions.
Wellington Brass is led by Musical Director David Bremner and Principal Cornet Toby Pringle, The ensemble of 30 musicians are sometimes augmented from a pool of over 40 associate players as and when required.
Capital Brass is a recently established ensemble, with emphasis on engaging brass players in the community.
Capital Brass is an amateur ensemble with focus on the social aspect of brass banding.

Wellington youth brass band
This programme is directed by the highly accomplished trombonist and teacher, Mark Davey. This band is an inclusive ensemble for young brass and percussion players with any level of experience, from beginners up.
To encourage and develop enthusiasm of young musicians, we help with providing an instrument along with personal tuition.
Wellington Brass Youth Band works as an engaging and inspiring introduction to music that begins with the commitment to foster and encourage young peoples' developing talent.
Meetings occur every Sunday at 4.30pm during the school term.
