En Route to Kerkrade

Kia ora everyone,

The day has arrived! Today we checked out of our lovely accommodation in Ouddorp at 8:30am and hit the road again. This time, we’re heading to Kerkrade! Our first stop was in Breda for a quick coffee/stroopwaffle, followed by lunch in Sittard. We even bumped into a fellow fan, who was also on his way to watch the WMC!

Early in the afternoon we checked into the Rolduc Hotel, which is where we will be based for the rest of our time here. A really stunning looking old hotel, filled with the sounds of other bands rehearsing, and amazing wonderful rooms. The beds are super comfy, and the rooms come with all necessities!

The afternoon gave us a chance to unpack and explore the area - a few of us even walked over to Germany for a quick visit! We cracked into a productive rehearsal for a few hours in the evening, and that was it for another day. After a busy start to the tour with travel and concerts, it felt good to have a solid rehearsal. It feels a bit surreal that we are finally here, it has been a long time coming for the band and it’s very exciting for us to be here. Thanks for following along our journey so far!
