Kerkrade 2026 Give A Little

This year, Wellington Brass Band has been invited to compete at the World Music Contest in Kerkrade in the Netherlands. We will be up against the best brass bands in the world, showing them how we do it in New Zealand. We are immensely excited to attend!

Whilst the band is filled with exceptional musicians, this tour is self funded. As a community band, we rely on the support of people who believe in what we do. Taking a band of this size overseas requires significant fundraising to help cover flights, accommodation, and other essential costs. Wellington Brass Band Friends will receive a quarterly newsletter featuring WBB information of interest to supporters. The opportunity for discounted tickets is available, and friends will receive invitations to special events. These include the opportunity to attend open rehearsals and evening functions.
