Welly Wonderland is back for 2026!
After the success of our very first Welly Wonderland in 2025, we’re thrilled to be bringing the Christmas magic back to the Michael Fowler Centre this December!
Last year’s concert brought together brass, voices and plenty of festive cheer for an afternoon of Christmas music in the heart of Wellington. We were blown away by the response from our audience, with Welly Wonderland described as “a joyful, fabulous evening of song and light-hearted entertainment” and “an outstanding Christmas concert.”
For 2026, Wellington Brass is excited to be joined by Pacific Connection and St Mark’s Children’s Choir, continuing the combination of brass and voices that made last year’s concert so special.
Together, we’ll be bringing the Wellington community an afternoon packed with Christmas bangers, beautiful carols, big brass moments and plenty of festive favourites. From much-loved Christmas classics to music that shows off the incredible sound of brass and voices coming together, there’ll be something for everyone.
And Welly Wonderland is perfect for the whole family. With a 3pm start, plenty of familiar Christmas favourites and the addition of St Mark’s Children’s Choir, it’s a great opportunity to bring the kids along and enjoy some Christmas magic together.
At the heart of Welly Wonderland is something pretty simple: bringing people together through music at Christmas. We loved seeing the Michael Fowler Centre filled with people enjoying the concert last year, and we can’t wait to do it all again.
Whether you joined us in 2025 or this will be your first Welly Wonderland, we’d love to see you there.
